Two weeks in April / ４月の２週間
Haka: It was interesting to travel to Japan with Steve, things I take for granted
he found fascinating for example like the colour of the road. As he was always
taking photographs it made the trip quite hard work but good to watch somebody see
my country with fresh eyes.
Steve: Hard work? This is the second time now that I’ve visited Japan- the first
time was back in 2001. It seems to have changed quite a bit although the technology
gap between the UK seems to have closed considerably- you must have been about 6
years ahead of us, now I
’m not sure its hard to tell, maybe Japan is just resting.
Haka:私が気づかず見逃してしまうようなものが、
Steveの目には素晴らしいものに映るようで。
例えば道路の色とか、写真を撮らずにはいられないみたいでした。
そのせいでなかなか先に進めず一苦労でしたが、新鮮な目で自分の国をみている人と旅をするのもなかなかよかったです。
Steve:一苦労？２００１年に初めて日本を訪れ、今回が２度目の訪問でした。
この６年の間に結構日本も変わったように思えましたが、テクノロジーの面を見るとそうでもないような気がしました。
６年前、日本のテクノロージはイギリスの６年程先をいっていたように思えましたが。
今は大した差がないように思えました。
多分日本は休憩中？
